The text of this illumination is from the Logia of Isaiah, presented in the book Isaiah: A Cosmic and Messianic Drama by J. Todd Ferrier. It is an endeavour to represent, through symbol, the transcendent vision which came to the prophet. The elements of the text represented in the illumination include the ineffable Glory and Radiance of the Lord, the worship rendered by the Seraphim, and the Fire upon the Altar. The four crosses (including the Maltese Cross, or Cross of St. John) symbolise the presence of God throughout the Universe.
