Text of FB02 - Isaiah: The Vision of the Lord

I SAW THE LORD
He was enthroned on high, and His Glory
filled the Temple.
Around the Throne stood the Seraphim;
Each of them had six Wings;
With twain each covered his Face;
With twain he covered his Feet;
And with twain he did fly.
And each unto the other thus spake in song:-
Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord of Hosts;
The Heavens are full of His Glory; And the
fulness of the Earth also manifests His Glory.

The Veils dividing the Thresholds moved,
for the Voice of Him from within the
Sanctuary Spake;
And the Temple was filled with His Radiance.

Because of the Glory of the Vision, I was
as one who is overwhelmed;
For I felt as if my praise of Him were
uttered by unclean lips, and that I dwelt
amongst a people whose ways were of
the unclean; For I had looked upon
the King, the Lord of the Heavenly Hosts.

Then flew unto me one of the Seraphim:
In his hand he bore the Sacred Flame,
Which in appearance was as a Glowing Stone;
From out the Fire upon the Altar had he
taken it. With it he touched my lips and
spake:- "Behold! Behold! The Mystery of His Love!
It is thine to know; for it hath touched thee
and made thee whole."

Then, from within the Sanctuary spake
the Lord; The sound of His Voice was as
when many waters meet;
And He said unto the Hosts of the Heavens:-
"Who will go down for us? Whom shall we send?"
And my Being was lifted up unto Him,
and I spake, saying, "Send me! Send me!
And He said, "Go then to the people as
the Servant of the Lord."
