Text of FB06 - The Holy City and the River of Life
From "The Apocalypse": The Logia or Sayings of the Master
by the Reverend J. Todd Ferrier
(Upper Left Column)
And the Spirit of Elohim carried me unto an exceeding
high Mountain, and from it I again beheld the
Holy City of Zion, radiant with the Glory of God
descending through the Heavens. Within
her burned the Seven Sacred Fires of
Elohim, clothing her in a garment
of Light. Around her a wall was
raised, exceeding high, and she
had Twelve Gates and at each
Gate an Angel whose name was
that of the House of Israel:
three Gates looked towards
the East and three towards
the West, three towards the
North and three to-
wards the
South.
(Upper Right Column)
And the twelve Gates were as twelve Pearls, each
Gate being one perfect Pearl. And the City
had no more any earthly Temples, because
the Eternal One was the Overshadowing
Presence and Temple, and the Lamb
was its worship. And the City re-
quired no more another Sun to
lighten it, nor Moon to shine at
night, for the Glory of God did
lighten it through the worship
of the Lamb. And the nations
of them who are the Redeem-
ed Ones shall walk in the
Light of it. Its Gates
shall not be shut
at all by day,
and there
is no
night
in it.
(Lower Center)
And the Angel of His Presence shewed unto me a river of pure clear
Water of Life, which reflected the Light of the Heavens like a perfect
crystal, as it proceeded from the Throne of God and of the Lamb.
In the midst of the stream of it, and upon each side of it, there grew the Tree
of Life whose fruits were twelve, each in its season; and whose leaves were for
the healing of the people.
And wheresoever the river floweth there shall be no more anything accursed;
but the Throne of God and of the Lamb shall be there, and all His servants
shall enter into His service.
And they shall behold His Face, and the sign of His Name shall be upon
their foreheads.
There shall be no night there in which the light of the candle is needed; for
wheresoever the river floweth there shall be the Light of Life which proceedeth
from the Lord as their Sun; and they shall reign evermore with Him.
And His Angel saith: 'These sayings are from the Faithful and True One who
hath sent His Angel to speak of them unto His servants.'
Behold! He Cometh.
(Bottom Left)
'Unto Him who sitteth
upon the Throne with the
Lamb, be the Blessing,
(Bottom Right)
and the Honour, and the
Dominion, and the
Glory, evermore.'
(Left inset)
..O Ierusalem!
Hear ye this
Message from the Lord:
The Watchmen proclaim
it upon Thy
walls!
Is.
(Right inset)
"The
Watchmen shall
lift up the voices in Praise
of Him; they shall be
as one Band."
Isaiah
