Text of FB09 - The Alpha and the Omega
(Left column, top left)
From
the Arche
was the
Word. The
Word was of
God. And God was
in the Word. In the
Arche the Word was
with God. By
the Word were
all things
created, and
without
the
(Left column, top right)
Word
was there
not any-
thing fash-
ioned that had
been created. In the
Word was hidden the
Life of God, even the
heavenly Prin-
ciple which
became
the Light
of Man.
(Left column, middle left)
The
LORD is
my Shep-
herd. I'll not
want. He makes
me down to lie
in pastures green.
He leadeth
me the
quiet
waters
by.
(Left column, middle right)
Yea,
though I
walk thro
shadowed
vale Yet will I fear
no ill; For Thou art
with me, and THY
Rod and
Staff me
comfort
still.
(Left column, lower left)
My
table
Thou
hast furn-
ished in
presence of my
foes: My head with
oil Thou dost
anoint And
my cup
overflows.
(Left column, lower right)
Good
ness and
mercy all
my life
have surely foll-
owed me; and in
GOD'S House for
evermore
my dwell-
ing place
shall
be.
(Center column, bottom)
Ages
have rolled and
Souls have risen and set,
and risen again to learn and grow
To consciousness of Blessing given of His Grace
In ministry of healing and redeeming.
To look through that age-long past Makes Life seem
old: yet Eternal Life is ageless, and it doth fill me: it
is His Gift. So ever am I back again to Childhood, Like
blooms perennial and Eternal Upon the Tree of Life
And I am yet a Child, His Child, though swept by many
ages Amid the Great Deeps of His Mystery Whose Breaths,
as moved from Him, have clothed me With Youth Eternal,
the resplendent Garment of the Son of God within me.
The rising and the setting, then the further rising
Is of no man, but alone of HIM.
From "The Age-Long Way" by the Rev. J. Todd Ferrier
(Right column, upper left)
I am
the Alpha
and the
Omega,
the God, the
Lord, who was,
and who is, and
who is about
to come,
even the
Almighty
One.
(Right column, upper right)
Worthy
is the Lamb
who hath
been slain
to receive the
Power, and the
Riches,and the
Wisdom, and the
Might, and
the Honour,
and the Glor-
y, and the
Bless-
ing.
(Right column, middle left)
How
long, O
Lord the
holy and
true One, how
long ere Thou
dost come in Thy
just judgment to
make man-
ifest Thy
righteous-
ness
(Right column, middle right)
unto
those
who be up-
on the
Earth.
Worthy art Thou,
O Lord, to receive
the Glory of the
Heavens...
and the
service of
Thy child-
ren.
(Right column, lower left)
And
the Spirit
of Elohim
carried me
unto an ex-
ceeding high
Mountain and from
it I again beheld
the Holy City of
Zion radi-
ant with
the Glory
of God.
(Right column, lower right)
...the
City re-
quired no
more an-
other Sun to
lighten it, nor
Moon to shine by
night for the Glory
of God did light-
en it thro'
the wor-
ship of
the Lamb.
